Maneater⭐⭐

Maneater in the shark's defense will eat a balanced meal of both male and female actors. Trying to boost empathy for the female protagonist via her back story is unconvincing and pointless when it visually demonstrates that It's all about survival. Not too bad cinematography wise I found myself engaged with the CGI shark. The live action shark head though is unnecessary. Plot wise, it’s nothing you haven’t seen over and over again in sharksploitation. It does seem to be setting the lead male character up for a sequel, why I am not sure as he seems pretty one dimensional. That aside if you are new to the genre then you can do a lot worse.  No surf boards were damaged in the making of this movie.
